Following the birth of my second child I decided I needed to make some major life changes. I cut several inches off my hair and dyed it, and although it changed the way the world saw me, it didn’t change the way I saw the world. So I took the plunge and launched my own venture providing bookkeeping services, Bright Angels.
As a marketing professional I know the value of networking and it was while looking for networking opportunities for bright angels I came across The Athena Network. After one meeting I was hooked and like the man in the Remington electric razor advert says ‘I was so impressed I bought the company’. I’m now the Regional Director for The Athena Network in the North Bedfordshire area.
Both my ventures are about ‘being of service’, being ‘true to yourself’ and acting with honesty, integrity and passion. I find it personally rewarding to use my skills, knowledge and contacts to help others achieve their goals.
